The PLACER© Process originally referred to the labour intensive practice of “panning” for gold.

Our 23 Step PLACER© Search Process allows us to sift through a large number of candidates to uncover the “nuggets” best suited to our client needs. It is designed to provide a road map which maximizes the likelihood of a successful search outcome (breadth of search and depth of candidate assessment) while minimizing the potential negative impact of the unexpected (process control). The search begins with extensive industry research, supported by functional expertise. We access candidates through a multi-pronged approach, including but not limited to direct recruiting (head hunting), networking/referrals, our proprietary database (40 years continuous development), industry associations, and advertising.

The “Science” of Fit

Features up to 6 levels of assessment, including candidate scoping (research), telephone screening, resume review, in-depth behaviour-based interview, thorough reference checking, and psychometric assessment, going beyond Education and Experience, and focusing on Fit.
